Guardian Home Program
What’s a Guardian Home?
In order for us to offer exceptional puppies, we need to eventually add new quality bloodlines into our breeding program. Guardian homes willingly raise and keep one of our puppies, allowing us to expand our program, and in return, they gain a loving companion.
This allows local families an opportunity to own one of the “picks of the litter” without paying full price. The family must be approved as guardian parents and agree to abide by our contract of care and breeding requirements.
It's an excellent situation for guardian parents and it's a great way for us to produce an exceptional breeding program without placing our puppies in a kennel environment. It is one of those "win-win" situations for everyone involved. The family receives a quality, top pick dog for their forever pet, we are able to improve our program, and the puppy gains a family who adores them.
Guardian Homes Must Have the Following:
-
Own their own home.
-
Have their own car to transport.
-
Prior experience dog ownership.
-
Be willing to crate and house train the puppy.
-
Provide required food, heartworm/flea/tick prevention, as well as regular vet checks, including vaccines.
-
Vet reference.
-
Fenced backyard to contain the puppy, or be willing to adequately supervise puppy at all times while outside.
-
Be good at communication.
-
Be willing to socialize with the puppy.
-
Live within easy driving distance to our home.
-
